Conveyor belts – heavyweight: The Fenner Dunlop conveyor belts that we carry
are made with a polyester/nylon carcass. This design offers the advantages of low-stretch,
high-strength polyester as the warp member combined with the excellent fastener
holding, impact resistance, and troughability characteristics of the nylon fill
members.
We offer many different types of Fenner Dunlop conveyor belt covers for a variety
of applications. The following are some of the most commonly used covers:
- General Service Covers
- Oil Resistant Covers
- High Temperature Covers
- Other specific covers
- Types of Fenner Dunlop conveyor belts
General Service Covers
MATCHLESS (RMA GRADE I)
- Superior endurance against combined cutting, gouging and heavy impact.
- Recommended for transporting large, heavy lump ores, rocky earth, granite, trap
rock and quartz.
- Superior abrasion resistance.
GIANT (RMA GRADE 2)
- Excellent where heavy, continuous abrasion is the primary concern.
- Superior resistance to cutting and gouging.
- Recommended for most above-ground abrasive material handling applications, such
as coal, coal mine refuse, crushed ores and rock, slag, limestone, potash, trona,
salt, sand, aggregates and other abrasives.
Oil Resistant Covers
MOR (Moderate Oil Resistance)
- Recommended for specialized service such as waste disposal, sewage, sludge and lightly
oil-treated materials.
- Resistant to the deteriorating effects of moderately oily materials and terpenes.
ORWP (Oil Resistant Wood Product)
- Recommended for wood transport (lugs, wood board, and others).
High Temperature Covers
SUPER SAHARA
- Temperature resistant up to 230°C (450°F ) for abrasive coarse lumps (2
inches +) (50mm +) and 205°C (400°F ) for abrasive fines.
- Recommended wherever a premium high temperature belt is required.
- Provides maximum service life on enclosed systems with high environmental temperatures.
DELTAHEAT
- Temperature resistant to 400° F (205° C) for abrasive coarse lumps (2 inches +/
50mm +) and 350 ° F (175° C) for abrasive fines.
- Designed to resist the negative effects of cover cracking, hardening, tearing and
flexing associated with high temperature environments.
- Applications include, but are not limited to: hot cement clinker, iron ore pellets,
casting sand, and hot asphalt rock.
We also offer other specific covers such as:
- Giant SAR
- Sahara
- ORP
- ORN
- FORP
- Sahara SAR
- Sahara OR
- MSHA ET CSA FFAR-FAR-FFOR
Listed below are the different types of Fenner Dunlop conveyor belts we distribute
and some of their characteristics:
- Fenner Dunlop Usflex: the Fenner Dunlop UsFlex is the most resistant
rubber belt on the market. The unique warp construction of the carcass provides
five times the resistance against rip and perforation, compared to conventional
multiple plied carcasses of equal force or tension.
This almost indestructible belt is recommended for the most severe applications
such as primary rock transport in the quarries or log transport in the "wood room"
of the paper mill.
- Fenner Dunlop PSR: the Fenner Dunlop PSR is a high quality belt.
Made with hard synthetic warp and superior grip rubber strip, it provides excellent
durability. The polyester/nylon carcass offers the best possible warp combination
and the advantages of the two fabrics.
The PSR is recommended for all kinds of applications in the various industries.
It is available with all the rubber covers mentioned above.
- Fenner Dunlop RockMaster: the Fenner Dunlop RockMaster is an excellent
economical belt. With its superior construction like the PSR, it provides less charge
capacity because of the lower thickness of the rubber strip between each carcass.
It is recommended for less severe applications such as coal, sand, aggregates, crushes,
ores and wood chip transport. Available with Giant, MOR and ORWP rubber covers.
- Fenner Dunlop LogMaster: the Fenner Dunlop LogMaster is specially
designed for extreme impact points of handling systems for log transport. This 6mm
ORWP superior cover resists cuts and gouges, as well as deterioration due to wood
oil (wood pitch).
The brown bottom cover #1504 slider, 1.5 mm, provides superior gliding (coefficient
of friction on the steel of .30). This also protects the bottom ply against deterioration
and gives significantly more lateral stability to the belt.
The "LOGMASTER" belt is recommended for the sawmill application "slasher deck"(in/out
feed to debarkers and log selectors) and the papermill (log transport and in/out
of the drum).
